Lavender Eyes, is a fan site devoted to Drizzt Do'urden and the other characters of R.A. Salvatore's Dark Elf/Icewind Dale/Legacy of the Drow books. The site is mainly intended to be a repository for Dark Elf related fanfiction and fan art. It was created by the awesome Rivka, also known as Rebecca Smallwood.

This site started out as a idea in CrazysNicole's mind during the early months of 2006. Nicole kept it to herself until August 2006 when she finally told her idea to Neodarke. Neo told Nicole she should go for it, and finally work on the Newbie Guide was started on Oct 02, 2006. Version 1 was finished Oct 06,2006.

The newbie guide wasn't just created for new members, it was also created to help older members who might not understand everything!
